MPH in Environmental Health Sciences
Environmental health is where science meets real-world impact. In the MPH in Environmental Health Sciences program, you’ll study how air, water, chemicals, climate and other environmental factors affect human health and how public health professionals help prevent harm.
This program is built for students who want to solve environmental health problems through applied science, public health practice, and community engagement.
What You’ll Study
You’ll build the skills to identify environmental risks, understand how they affect health and help communities respond to those risks. You'll explore topics including environmental contamination, toxicology, environmental policy, risk assessment, water quality, microbial pollution, and environmental justice.
Curriculum
The MPH in Environmental Health Sciences is a 43-credit-hour program that includes public health core courses, environmental health sciences coursework, electives, a practicum, and an integrated learning experience.
