As a Graduate Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work closely with faculty and staff to support program and community goals.
- Develop skills in arts administration, event planning, research, and networking.
- Contribute to projects that enhance the educational experience for our School of Music community.
Responsibilities
Graduate Assistants play a vital role in the success of our program, serving as points of contact between students, faculty, staff, and the broader community.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Graduate Assistant position, applicants must:
- Be accepted/enrolled in the School of Music graduate program at the University of South Carolina.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Have prior experience or interest in event planning, social media management, research, or community engagement (preferred but not required).
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
