Our Legacy

In 2022, the School of Information Science marked the 50^th anniversary of its first graduating class. To commemorate this historic milestone, we collected artifacts and memories from the past 50 years to remember our legacy and pave the way for the next 50 years.  And we held a 50th Anniversary Celebration event (see videos and photos).

Fifteen years into his mission to grow early childhood literacy in South Carolina, Cocky is proving he’s more than a mascot.  What started as a student-led winter break program has mushroomed into a full-time enterprise supported by iSchool staff and funded through corporate and private donations and grants.
