Alexandra Sigmon is the electron microscopy specialist in the IRF. She earned her B.S. in Biology from Bob Jones University in 2021 before working in a Medical and Molecular Genetics lab at IUPUI. She later returned to South Carolina to complete her Master’s in Genetics at Clemson University in 2024. In her role, Alexandra assists with TEM/SEM sample preparation and imaging, among other responsibilities. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her German Shepherd, Charlotte, and spending time with friends and family.
