Background
Kelvin Obioha joined the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management as an undergraduate academic advisor in September 2025.
Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Kelvin earned a Bachelor of Science in sport management from Roanoke College in 2019 and a Master of Science in higher education administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2024.
Kelvin has built a diverse portfolio of experience across several higher education roles, including enrollment counselor, athletics liaison, and athletic certification officer, with each position strengthening his commitment to student success.
Kelvin is passionate about communication, fostering teamwork and has a love for higher education. When he is not advising students, he enjoys working out, golfing, listening to music and spending time with his friends and family.
