Hours and Location
- The Honors College Student Services reception is located in James F. Byrnes Building, across from the USC Horseshoe.
- Our doors are open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 – 4:30 p.m. This schedule is subject to change without notice.
- The reception is not open when the University is closed. Please call to check if you have any questions.
Free On-the-Go Printing
Honors students will receive a $10 allotment on their Carolina Cards to be used for quick printing needs after 5 p.m.
How to Access Free On-the-Go Printing
- Funds: At the start of each semester, Honors students will receive a $10 printing credit to their CarolinaCard.
- Note: Any unused printing funds will expire at the end of each semester and do not carry over.
- Printing Locations: Honors students can use any of the 37 printing kiosks on campus, barring any technical difficulties or kiosk maintenance. Students should plan accordingly in case their preferred kiosk is temporarily offline.
On-Request Printing
For planned printing requests, students may submit printing requests to the Honors College Reception and pick them up during our office hours (listed above).
Please allow 1-2 business days to process your request. Requests made after 5 p.m. on Friday will be ready the following Tuesday, at the latest. Print jobs are completed in the order received, not based on the urgency of the request.
On-Request Printing Policies
- Each student will be limited to 100 pages per semester. Each job may not exceed 30 pages or 10 copies.
- We are only able to print in black and white at this time.
- Print requests are not on demand and are completed by the order they are received in.
- Print request should be used for Honors students' academic purposes only (not for personal use or for student orgs etc.)
- Print requests will not come stapled, collated or hole-punched.
- Completed requests may only be picked up between 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and only after receipt of email confirmation that the request is ready and available.
