Hi! My name is Cayleigh Marzluff and I'm a sophomore in the South Carolina Honors College! I love being active and trying new coffee spots around campus. After college, I hope to be doing shark or turtle research and exploring the ocean.

Why I chose the South Carolina Honors College
I chose the South Carolina Honors College because of the incredible opportunities to do research, study beyond the classroom and, of course, the free printing!
My advice for prospective students: Get involved! Try everything and anything that sounds remotely interesting because that's how you will meet the most amazing people and make South Carolina your home!
Favorite question during an information session: What was your experience like living in the Honors Residence Hall your first year?
It was amazing! I met some of my best friends through the Honors Residence Hall my freshman year. It gives you the chance to be surrounded by so many like-minded people. I found myself hanging out with my dorm-mates almost every night whether it was watching the newest episode of Dancing with the Stars, learning a new board game or studying for a challenging class. Living in HRH gave me the best introduction to South Carolina and the Honors College and set me up for success for the rest of my time at Carolina.
Something I'm proud of that's not on my resume: I got to dance at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. with my pre-professional Tap and Jazz company in high school!
