Brenda is the Production Coordinator & Stage Management Instructor for the Department of Theatre and Dance.  She has stage managed productions in NY for: Eric Krebs Theatrical Management, NYU Grad Acting Program, Amas Musical Theatre, Theatreworks USA, The Fringe Festival, The Actors Company Theatre, and The New Victory Theater.

Brenda earned her BCA in Theatre from UNC Charlotte and has worked with numerous theatre companies in the Charlotte area, including 10 years at the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte where she served in the roles of  Intern Coordinator, Teaching Artist, Stage Manager, and Production Manager.

For the past 4 years, Brenda has been a guest teaching artist for Blumenthal Performing Arts where she teaches workshops on stage management and mentors a group of high school stage management students through the rehearsal process for the Blumey Awards Ceremony; an annual celebration and competition held in the greater Charlotte, NC, area that recognizes and encourages high school students' talent and achievement in musical theater.
