Christine Pettus

Christine earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and English education from the University of South Alabama, an M.Ed. from Lee University, and an MA in Spanish Literature at Montclair State University.   She has over 25 years of teaching and tutoring experience, including teaching English in China, IB Spanish at the high school level, traveling tutoring with equestrians, and instructing Spanish at Montclair State University before joining the University of South Carolina’s faculty as an instructor. One of the best choices she has ever made is to learn to speak another language and to study and work abroad, and she enthusiastically shares the meaningfulness of these experiences with her students to encourage them to consider a similar path. She believes that all learning takes place in the context of a relationship, and strives to make her classes engaging and inspiring for each and every student.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
