Need some financial assistance to help get overseas? Most financial aid received for study on campus at USC can be applied toward study abroad. Utilize your existing aid, apply for additional scholarships and grants, and work with an advisor to identify low-cost programs to make study abroad work for your budget.


Each year, hundreds of USC students receive funding to support their overseas experience. The list below includes frequently recommended scholarships and grants available to you as a USC student, as well as information on deadlines, eligibility and how to apply. 

USC Education Abroad Scholarships & Program Discounts

These awards and program discounts are administered by the USC Education Abroad Office, and include several program-specific scholarships and discounts.

USC Departmental Scholarships & Grants

These awards are sponsored by specific USC academic departments for international study and/or research.

National Scholarships & Grants

These awards are both merit and need-based, and are specifically for international study and research.
