What to Expect
Description of Course:
Fundamentals of whitewater kayaking including equipment selection and use, safety techniques, strokes, Eskimo roll, river strategies, rescue procedures, and trip planning.
Description of Beyond the Classroom Component:
An all day kayaking adventure trip to a predetermined river to practice what has been learned in the classroom/pool.
