What to Expect
The Writing Center's social media is used to share Writing Center events, but it is also a tool through which authors and voices are uplifted. Book and media recommendations, tutor shoutouts, and writing advice are shared on socials in an attempt to meet students where they are. Further, the Writing Center uses social media in tandem with their own unique events and on-campus collaboration to celebrate marginalized communities and the days/weeks/months that recognize them (i.e. National Coming Out Day, Black History Month, etc).
